Promenade of Hope
HAVEN's 2008 Promenade of Hope event will echo a plea to end domestic violence and sexual assault at the Detroit Newspapers Print Facility in Sterling Heights on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 6 p.m. Please pledge your support and join us for an entertaining evening of cocktails, a strolling dinner, an art display, as well as silent and live auctions. Promenade of Hope raises the necessary funds to provide a safe place with food, shelter and life-changing services to the courageous survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Promenade of Hope reminds us all that domestic violence and sexual assault are frightening crimes that occur regardless of economic, racial, religious, educational or gender orientation differences. It is an event of hope to celebrate survivors who can now live without fear. Tickets are $200. For more information on purchasing tickets or becoming a sponsor, contact Tracy Thomas at (248) 322-3703, by email at tthomas@haven-oakland.org.
