  Support Groups

Haven offers over 20 groups for survivors and batterers:

  • Survivors of Domestic Violence Groups
    The Survivor of DV Groups are a combination of educational and support groups for survivors of domestic violence. These groups are ongoing and occur once a week for an hour and a half.
  • Adult Survivors of Childhood Sexual Assault Groups
    The first group is an 8-10 week educational group focusing on the issue of being an Adult Survivor. The second group is an Ongoing Support Group available after completing the first group.
  • Teen Women's Support Group
    For teenage women who have suffered trauma from dating violence, sexual assault, or child abuse.
  • IIB/TRY Groups
    These groups are accountability based psycho-educational groups that focus on teaching men that use abusive tactics to control their partners alternative non-abusive choices to build healthier relationships. RY Groups have the additional component of Substance Abuse Treatment.
  • Survivors of Sexual Assault support group
    A support group for female survivors of sexual assault.
  • WAVE, Women Against Violent Encounters
    An "Emotions Management" group for women to aid in increased capacity to identify and express emotions related to domestic violence.
  • Ongoing Support Groups for those that have complete the Intervention in Battering and TRY Programs
    Occurs once a month, focusing on continuing to use the tools gained to lead non-violent lives.
