HAVEN’s Prevention Education Team is ready to work with young people, teachers, parents and leaders in our community to equip them with the tools to make better choices, build relationships based on mutual respect and to address the root causes of domestic and sexual violence.

Verizon Wireless is matching your donations, dollar for dollar, up to $25,000 through this special challenge grant. We’re only $2,500 away from our goal! Will you help us reach it?

$2,500 will enable 1875 middle school students to learn about healthy relationships.
$1,000 will provide the Mentors in Violence Prevention program at an area school for the year.
$500 will allow Prevention Education to present during 13 class periods in an area school district.
$250 will enable Prevention Education to teach 188 kindergarten students about good versus bad secrets.
$100 will allow us to teach 75 high school students about sexual harassment and why it’s not OK.
